Asco de AscóUna vez mas mi total desprecio e indignación desde las protestonas páginas de "la Directa", que por cierto este viernes 18 celebrará su 2º Aniversario en la Farinera del Clot, en una nochecita de conciertos al ritmo de Pirat´s Sound Sistema+Naraina+PD El Capitá. Además se publicará un libro con las mejores entrevistas de estos 2 años en colaboración con la editorial Virus.
Pero hasta ese día de alegría y celebración solo nos queda molestar, y sin duda lo que ha ocurrido en Ascó no es para quedarse indiferente. La central a orillas del Ebro ha dejado escapar durante mas de 100 dias partículas radioactivas que han contaminado el entorno. Nada de esto se hubiera detenido a día de hoy sin la presión de los grupos ecologistas y el CSN, y aun así la cosa se ha demorado desde finales de Noviembre hasta este mismo mes, y eso que era una situación de importancia extrema, que debería haber sido tratada con rapidez urgente por la gravedad de los hechos. Sin embargo actualmente los técnicos del CSN siguen sacando radiación hasta de debajo de las piedras (nunca mejor dicho)...
Una vez mas se le ve el plumero a las grandes multinacionales energéticas, que solo miran por el beneficio, sin importarles lo mas mínimo el impacto medioambiental o las gentes con las que conviven a sus alrededores. Así pues mi lagrimita de esta semana va por la gente de Ascó y por todos los que sufren su vida al lado de una gran central energética.

No, hehehe. This Short BD is for a newspaper from BCN, "La Directa". This is about a nuclear plant who contaminate the area more than 100 days in a town called Ascó near from the Ebro river. And only after an ispection and more than 3 month´s they stop the power plant. Is a parody about this bad news, and also a tribute to the Matt Groening cartoons. In the text say "Asco de Ascó" is like(how disgusting of Ascó)

In Italy they were known as "Sgorbions" , and to my eyes your stuff looks like you have somehow been influenced by those ...

Yeah really, i didnt think this thing about my influences. But when i was young i really like this monsters babies from the sticks of Garbage Pail Kids. Here called, "LA PANDILLA BASURA". I always like draw monsters also, and Lovecraft is another influence. But this humoristic style i think that is a influence of a little bit from Toriyama and another bit from Jan, the BD Creator of Superlopez. An amazing cartoonist. Pues no es excusa tío, es una larga história, que resulta que me mudé y nada, aun no tenemos teléfono(ni creo que lo tengamos, prefiero robarle internet al vecino). Pero el caso, que me conecto desde el pedacho de mac que me compré, que tiene wifi de esa, y el pc,(donde tengo todos los links de la kostra, no). No se si me explico.

Que pasa Oriol, es un placer verte postear x aki. Nosotros tb hablamos maravillas de vosotros y vuestros trabajos. Por lo del telefono no te preocupes, yo tb saqueo a mi vecino, jejejej. Como en estos momentos, pero vamos k movil seguro k tienes, no hay nadie en BCN k no tnga, creo.
La calçotada nada de nada, pero este finde hay una movideta en las cotxeras de Sants, una feria de la cerveza artesanal, donde se puede hacer uno la birra y de paso degustarla (sobre todo esto último). La Africa, el Carles y algunos Joseros se pasaran por aki a coger la papa, asi que ya estais avisaos.

Jajaja, very funny spanish-english comments. As the english ones are about the design, I'll continue with the english. The worst for me is that the CSN (it's the Nuclear control Office) is testing many children 'cause they have been making school visits to make Nuclear Energy look friendly!!
